Undergraduate Credit Load

The following academic policy pertains to student study loads:

  1. Minimum load - The minimum load required to be considered a full-time student is 12 credits per semester during the Fall and Spring semesters.

  2. Maximum load - The maximum load permitted is 19 credits per semester during a Fall or Spring semester.

  3. Minimum load - The minimum load required to be considered a full-time student during a Summer semester is 6 credits.

  4. Maximum load - The maximum load permitted during a Summer semester (including evening and day sessions) is 12 credits.
In order to take more than the maximum load, students must have a minimum cumulative QPA of 3.00 and receive permission from the school dean.
